The Sting Rays were the automotive success story of the year. Chevrolet had to add
a second shift to its St. Louis, Missouri assembly plant to keep up with demand, and
dealers reported owners waiting months for their cars to be built. By the end of the
model year, Corvette production would surpass the 20,000-unit milestone.
For 1965 Corvette made a few changes to the Sting Rays. The horizontal grill bars were changed
to black, the hood vent depressions were removed and the new vertical exhaust louvers in the
front fenders were now functional. On the interior Instrument gauges were restyled with flat
black faces and seats were redesigned with slightly larger and more supportive cushioning.
Gorgeous 1965 Corvette Stingray Sport Coupe. Fitted to this car;
an L84 327/375 HP NUMBERS MATCHING block, Fuel Injected engine. The transmission
is a 4 speed manual. The exterior is Milano Maroon with a gorgeous Black Leather interior.

and looks amazing. This classic Sport Coupe is extremely solid and fun to drive. This car
