Motard is a European phenomenon. Usually, we don’t care how they do it in Europe, but in this
case, they may be on to something. Start with a dirt bike, with its minimalist bodywork,
ultra-light weight and pothole-absorbing long-travel suspension. Spoon on a set of grabby,
nearly slick street tires instead of the off-road-capable knobbies, and you’ve got a motorcycle
ideally suited to the cut and thrust of urban jousting.

The Hypermotard is Ducati's V-Twin, 1100cc take on the supermoto concept. As such it's been
designed to offer all the excitement of a conventional supermoto, but with added style,
practicality and usability. Bold claims, maybe, but in the flesh it's all this and more.
The first time you clap eyes on it, it simply stops you in your tracks.

This "S" Model is 2-kg (4.4 lbs) lighter than the standard model thanks to the forged alloy
Marchesini wheels shod with sticky Pirelli Diablo Corsa III tires. It also comes with an Ohlins
rear shock, reworked 50mm Marzocchi forks and Brembo Monobloc radial calipers from the 1098.
You'll also get carbon fiber fork protectors, timing belt covers, side tail covers, front
mudguard and lightweight Termignoli exhaust.

Stunning red 2008 Ducati Hypermotard S.
This Muscular Hypermotard "S" is like new with only 1,828 original Km's.
